A TALENTED Motherwell singer is preparing to take to the stage in a new Glasgow production. Rachel Oates (20) will star in Fiona Kennedy’s show The Kist at Oran Mor later this month.
The four-date show will see Rachel reprise the role she performed memorably at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe. It will be the former Taylor High pupil’s third collaboration with Fiona after recording the Highland Heartbeat album with her last year.Rachel is currently studying for an HNC in Musical Theatre at Motherwell College.
The Kist tells how Scots travelled to the four corners of the Earth, taking their songs with them and scattering a proud musical heritage across the world.
