Remembering my wonderful mother and singer Anne Gillies on #fionaskitchenconcerts .
We lost her on 11th January 1974 following a routine operation. Mum gave us so much during her 39 years- she’s in my heart and mind every day. In this lovely photo with Dad she’s wearing her Mod Gold Medal – she beat him to it! I’ll be singing some of her songs with ‘the golfer’ by my side!
