Ruairidh MacDonald (12) is the youngest cast member of ‘The Kist’, which starts at Glasgow’s Oran Mor on 26 July.
A tale of journeys told through a mix of music from ancient tribal Gaelic to Paulo Nutini, its song ‘Fly, Lady Fly’ was inspired by the incredible 3000-mile journey the osprey makes every year.
It was fitting then that the young performer came to see the bird honoured in the song.
